Kompozer from Mozilla

(This is a Mozilla program)

In putting
this page up I am using Kompozer Document made with KompoZer,
an open source WYSIWYG html editor. What this means is that it is free, and if you already know your way around a little you can
muddle it out.

However,
this also means that there is no immediate help
available. It is done through forums. Which isn’t to say these forums
are not active….I’m just sayin’ you might get help fairly quickly or
you might not.

I am

finding
it difficult to figure out the fonts and sizes as you can probably
tell. (You have to keep going to the top tab: Format for it) which to
me isn’t that convenient. And I have looked around for something that
pertains to “page properties”…haven’t found anything, so I’m thinking that maybe the best thing to do is to use tables.

As for images…well, I have yet to figure out how to do them without involving HTML..

I do like that there are some
different options added in one program: WSIWYG and HTML. If you look at
the bottom of the editor panel you will see 4 tabs: Normal; HTML Tags;
Source and Preview.

The
program does have some nice features: Horizontal line; table of
contents; validate HTML are some. It just isn’t quite what I am looking
for in an editor. If you are interested in trying out the program for
yourself, you will find it here: http://kompozer.sourceforge.net

The above was using the download from Sourceforge, however, when I downloaded the program from http://kompozer.net/ I found the program to be much easier to use.
